Join us at Kathy’s Legacy
Please join us on Saturday, April 12th where we’ll highlight our non-profit partner, Kathy’s Legacy, and create summer activity kits for children whose lives are altered by the murder of a parent due to domestic violence.
Kathy’s Legacy assists these children and the family members (often elderly grandparents) who are now guardians of the children. In addition to helping with basic needs, Kathy’s Legacy provides opportunities for normalcy such as birthday & holiday celebrations, dance lessons, sports, summer camps and more.

| WHAT: | Girlfriends Care Casual Brunch Meeting. Dress is Saturday Casual! |

| WHERE: | City of Carlsbad Library – Gowland Meeting Room 1775 Dove Lane Carlsbad, CA 92011 (This program is taking place as a rental of Carlsbad City Library’s facilities) |
| WHY: | Learn about Kathy’s Legacy and how we can support children affected by the loss of a parent due to domestic violence, and help assemble summer activity kits for the children |

We will be collecting the following at this meeting for Kathy’s Legacy to help guardians provide basic needs for the children:
- Gift cards (i.e., Target, Walmart, grocery stores and gas stations)
- Cash and check donations will also be accepted at the meeting (or you can use this link and designate Kathy’s Legacy)
